Great Jacket

This jacket is more versatile than I expected. H&V merchandise is always great - but for the price this is a nice jacket for cool weather. I will say it runs small. I usually wear a L, but bought an XL and it fits perfectly. Already wore it on a few Mid-Atlantic spring days and it keeps you warm in the cooler weather - even with a wind or light rain. Kept me surprisingly warm on a day that didn’t get as warm as forecast when I wore short sleeves. Layered with a hoodie it can be worn on days in the 40s. Snaps work smoothly - not the type that feel like they are going to rip out. The design is great, but also subtle. Overall - great for those cool Endor mornings when your breaking in the new recruits!

the felt on the inside

the felt on the inside seam feels a bit different from other light coach's jackets but it's nice. I wish this came in a 3XL but fits ok.

Pockets sewn shut? WTF?

I was really excited to find a star wars coaches style jacket. I tried it on and all of the sudden, I tried to put my hands in the pockets and they was resistance. WHAT?! Who sews the pockets closed on a jacket. I had to snap the threads open gently to release them. By that time I thought very little of the quality and craftsmanship of the garment. It's not comfortable and feels cheap.
