So, yes, I gave it a 5 star rating...I think these bags are amazing (I actually bought 5; 1 for myself and 4 as gifts). The casters are wonderful...so smooth and roll in all directions; just great. The locks are easy to setup, and they work well. The interior is fantastic with the inner zipper area and strap to hold everything in place. And the aesthetics are incredible!
That said, it isn't perfect. The bag can have issues with not aligning while closing (so, like, it wants to fold outward a touch more than it should which makes you think you cant close and latch your bag...no, you just need to make sure that the top and bottom aligns on the hinged edge). This was aggravating at first, but then you just get used to it and it takes an extra second to make sure you do it properly.
That I can get used to, but there is 1 big negative that bothers me the more I use it. Most carry on luggage has a pocket of some sort to quickly access things like a portable charger, or a cord, or to throw your passport into or whatever...you dont have that this these bags. If you want to put anything in, or take anything out you have to unlatch the WHOLE thing, get what you need, and then close it back up again (which requires making sure that it is aligned just perfectly). And if you use a combination for your locks? Well, that just takes more time...better hope you have everything you want in your pockets, or in your wife's purse.
I still love it, and I wouldn't go back and NOT purchase it, but its probably more like a 4.5/5 - not a true 5, but too good to be a 4 as well.
Oh, and I will say that on one of the 5 bags I bought (which happened to be the bag I got for myself) the plaque on the back of the bag is noticeably crooked. And it is riveted in place so its not like you can adjust it.
